Instructions Prior to Treatment
1. Do not brush or very lightly brush your teeth 3-4 hours prior of the session or immediately afterwards. Brushing may caused irritation of the teeth/gums during and after the treatment. Drinking water will help with irritation. Any irritation of the teeth/gums should dissipate on its own within 24 hrs.
2. Please eat and drink a hearty meal before getting your teeth whiten. After you get your teeth whiten, it is recommended you do not eat or drink anything (water is fine) and do not smoke or chew tobacco for at least 2 hours. For the next 24 hours, do not consume any dark colored food or beverage (ex. coffee, tea, soda, red wine, red meat, dark colored vegetables or anything with heavy color). If you would like to eat/drink immediately after the treatment, a special protective gel pen can be applied/bought for $20 which will protect your teeth against staining.
3. It is recommended that you bring headphones/music to your session. You will not be able to move or do anything for the duration of the teeth whitening.
4. There may be certain spots that are whiter on your teeth immediately after the treatment. Your teeth will become more uniform in color after 24 hrs.
5. Final results and duration of whitening effect will vary from person to person and life styles choices. Teeth whitening can be done every few month for improved and sustained results.
